Ego Boyo and Akin Omotosho’s  ‘The Ghost and the House of Truth‘ is a crime thriller done in association with Slate 1 Films and The Mission Entertainment and distributed by Silverbird Film Distribution across Nigeria.

The film clinched the Grand Jury Prize for Best World Narrative Feature at the recently concluded Urbanworld Film Festival in New York. The film contested with Honey Bee (Canada), Desrances (Burkina Faso) and By the Name of Tania (Peru).

Also, ‘The Ghost & the House of Truth’ has been announced as the closing film at the 2019 edition of the African International Film Festival, AFRIFF. 

The thriller drama which has a strong cast of female thespians further drive home the theme of 2019 AFRIFF – SHEROES.

The Ghost and the House of Truth’ takes a new turn with a storyline that cuts across the African diaspora, Ego Boyo and Akin Omotoso have successfully stolen the scenes with this world class master piece, cheers to a good start. The movie is set to hit the cinemas November 22, 2019 and from all indications it is definitely a must see.

 ‘The Ghost and the House of Truth’ is an emotional, thought-provoking and powerfully real drama that takes on socio-cultural issues, highlighting society’s basic requirement for more effective law enforcement and judicial, profiling and databases for citizens. It’s a simple but unforgettable story.

The film features Susan Wokoma, Kate Henshaw, Fabian Oloyede, Kemi ‘Lala’ Akindoju, Uzo Ozimkpa, Toyin Oshinaike, Seun Ajayi, Tope Tedela, Chioma ‘Chigurl’ Omeruah, Keira Heiwatch, Oludara Egerton, and Princess Shyngle.
