We seem to be seeing a rebirth of Christian films, and many Christians are encouraged that Nollywood will have to start recognizing the power of faith-based entertainment. Faith-based films have done so well at the box office over the years, causing Relevant Magazine contributor: Seth Tower Hurd to explain in his article; why Christian Movies are dominating the Box Office, some important reasons these movies seem to be doing better in the cinemas recently and many more. The movie God Calling appears on the AMVCA’s nomination list 11 times amidst all the competition. The movie features Zainab Balogun, Richard Mofe Damijo, Nkem Owoh and some well loved Nollywood actors. The movie was released in 2018 and has gained sustainability to be nominated in AMVCA 2020 for the following Awards.
